Act Now!

Headshots are a critical part of any actors CV. They are often the first contact a casting director has with talent.

Working with North East based Agent Janet Plater and Director Richard Reay the studio has produced headshots for performers based all over the country.

At the studio we believe that every performer puts something of themselves into every role, even if its just aesthetically. Therefore in addition to being an accurate visual representation of the talent, we also ensure we capture the performers character and personality, mixing in a little portraiture.

Established in 1997,
Janet Plater Management Ltd (JPM) is one of the North East's leading actors agencies representing around 60 professional adult actors.  JPM now also have an extras division, representing an extensive list of extras, walk on and supporting artists in all age groups. JPM Extras also has a list of child actors and extras who are based in the region.

Our approach is simple, to make the best photographs we ensure our subjects are relaxed and confident. We want to create an image that will work as hard as possible for you so you continue to return to us year after year.

JPM continue to recommend the studio's services to their clients, saying "For my actors, I look for a truthful photo which is well lit, well composed and of a high professional quality.Your service delivers that quickly, without fuss and for a good price."
